Each time our WEFTA volunteers make a site visit to help or assess a community, or follow up on completed or ongoing projects, we ask them to write a Trip Report that details the trip through their eyes. These reports provide a look into what it is like being a volunteer and a first-hand perspective on our efforts to help communities.
When long-time WEFTA volunteer engineer Andrew R. made a site visit trip to Honduras in 2021, he hit the ground running and may not have slept until he returned home almost 2 weeks later. : ) His visit included meeting and working with over 10 communities to follow up and assess multiple completed, ongoing, and potential water projects.
We are grateful for our volunteers and their amazing commitment to make a positive impact. Check out Andrew’s Trip Report.
