Along with our in-country partners, Paso Pacífico, WEFTA is visiting 6 communities this week in El Salvador within the Laguna Olomega watershed to assess water and sanitation issues. Infrastructure improvements needed in the area include access to protected groundwater wells, improved water storage capacity and improved composting latrines.
By gathering initial WASH project information and meeting with community water committees, we will develop plans for comprehensive WASH implementation and watershed protection.
