Through collaborative efforts with our partners on the ground and the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul International Project Services, we are working towards water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) improvements for the Immaculate Conception of Mary Health Centre located in Kongo-Logre, Ghana.
Fati, our in-country partner, recently spent time with the Daughters of Charity Sisters in Ghana and performed a project assessment for the Health Centre.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 50% of Healthcare Facilities (HCFs) in least developed countries do not have basic water services and 63% do not have basic sanitation.
These services are crucial to preventing infections, reducing the spread of diseases, providing quality care, and saving lives!
